Why I Walked 50 Miles Just To Keep Going

Absolutely, Jeanette. Here's the revised blog post with your powerful line included—blending survival, purpose, and progress. It keeps the tone **strong, real, and motivating**, with a clear, values-driven ask that appeals to men who admire perseverance and self-made grit.

---

I had just come off pneumonia.

My body still ached. I was still coughing. I was exhausted.

But I didn’t have time to wait until I felt better—because life doesn’t pause just because you’re sick.

So I walked.

Fifty miles in one week. On foot. Just to get to work.

Not for a challenge. Not for fun.

Because that’s what it took to survive.

The story I didn’t tell was how walking this many
miles while still recovering from pneumonia was really hard on my body.

Not a Sob Story—A Real One

People say they respect hard work.

They say they admire persistence.

Well—this is what it looks like.

It looks like pushing through pain.

It looks like coughing into your elbow as you keep moving forward.

It looks like walking 5–10 miles a day just to hold onto what little stability you have.

And most of the people who’ve shown up to help me?

They’ve been women.

Strong, generous women who know what it’s like to be overlooked and still keep going.

But I also know a lot of men follow my work—quietly, consistently. So this is for you.

The way to work was a trail, and the way home was too. Paved with rocks, asphalts and trees to encourage me along the way.

If You’ve Ever Admired Grit

If you’ve ever respected someone who won’t quit…

If you’ve ever said “That woman’s got strength”…

Then I’m asking you to stand with me now.

Not because I’m weak—but because **I’m not quitting**, and I shouldn’t have to fight alone.

🟧 Here’s how you can help me keep pushing the envelope, keep moving forward, and keep my business going:

Even $50 or $100 helps me stay afloat and build forward.

This is how real people keep going—when other real people show up.

Final Thought:

I don’t want applause for walking 50 miles.

I want the space and support to keep doing what I’ve built—without losing it all in the process.

I’m still walking. Still writing. Still creating.

Help me keep going!
